The travel costs associated with this immersion experience are around $1,000. (We have funding available to offset these expenses---see deposit information below.) Final costs for the program will be determined once the flights are booked.) These expenses cover the following aspects of the trip:
Roundtrip airline tickets
Transportation to and from LV to the airport
Transportation from Leon to Guanajuato
Lodging at Hotel Meson de Los Poetas
Transportation to various field experiences
Breakfast buffet every day
Students will be responsible for other meal expenses (approximately $5-$15 per day) and for other personal items.Scholarships are available to offset these expenses for the trip--click on the Scholarship Info icon on the right.
IMPORTANT DATES
o December 15, 2014: $200 (non-refundable) deposit is due to reserve your spot for this trip. (Check should be made payable to Penn State University and be given directly to the Business Office.)
o January 15, 2015—Second installment of $200 is due.
o February 16, 2015--Balance of the trip money is due (approximately $200)
